Our daily schedule


.
6:30 AM: Children wake up; nurses weigh each child & take temperatures
.
7:00 AM: Children fed milk, super-flour porridge (Lito) and egg; pulse rate and respiratory rates measured; review of hygeine by staff (are bathrooms clean? are beds made? are children clean?)
.
7:30 AM: Children given morning medicine (eg prophylaxis, dietary supplements, if antibiotics needed, any other medicines needed)
.
8 AM: ARV treatment administered
.
8-10 AM: Informal education for children by facilitator
.

10:00 AM: Morning meal: rice, mixed dhal, green leafy vegetables, and other vegetables, and pickle, milk for infants
.
10:00 AM– 1:00 PM: children playtime, caretakers clean, lessons from facilitator,
.
11:00 AM: ATT treatment if necessary
.
11:00 AM: on Wed & Sat, children shower
.
1:00 PM: children fed khole (super flour), egg, and milk
.
1:30 -4 PM: naptime, mothers get lessons from facilitators, Mondays nurses give education
.
3:00 PM: give medicine if need 3x a day
.
4:00 PM: Jawolo (½ rice, ½ lentils) & green leafy vegetables
.
4:30 PM: children playtime, watch TV
.
5:00 PM: Doctor check-ups on Wednesday & Saturday

6:00 PM: rice, dhal & curry, pickle
.
7:30 PM: evening medicine given, take children’s temperature, pulse rate & respiratory rate
.
10:00 PM: children fed bitten rice, super-flour porridge, and milk to children, given any medicine if need 3x a day
.
10:30 PM: children sleep
.
1 AM: infants & malnourished children get milk
.
4 AM: infants & malnourished children get milk
