Children’s Home

Fact

Abject poverty and  domestic violence are some of the reasons children of Nepal are orphaned, abandoned and beggared in the streets.  This problem has been compounded by the armed conflict which left thousands of children orphaned and homeless.

Our Response

We run two excellent homes: J House for boys and K House for girls where we provide a loving, secure and nurturing environment for the kids. Currently there are 18 children in each House. The children live here under the loving care of ‘Uncle’ and ‘Aunty’ who ensure that each child gets their personal attention and care.

Besides providing excellent schooling to the kids, we also focus on their social development through engaging them in festival celebrations, recreational activities, and programs with social motive.  We create an environment which encourages a sense of family, friendship, support, tolerance and humanity.

We commit to the children for long term, until they are able to support themselves. Since the establishment of J House in 1992 and K House in 1995, over 200 children have already found loving homes with us.
